• Confirmation calls will be made one to three days prior to the event. If you are expecting a confirmation call and do not receive one at that time please call the Recreation Department at (518)954-2054.
• Payment for pre-paid tickets is due the day of the event unless otherwise specified.
• If sign-up sheets are not returned the activity can not be guaranteed. Please check your calendar to be sure you signed up for everything you wanted. Also be sure to check off all the dances you wish to attend. Reservations are important in the planning process of all dances. Tickets for events are ordered on the due by date after 3:00 pm.
• IF YOU ARE SIGNED UP FOR AN EVENT AND NEED TO CANCEL IT YOU MUST CALL 954-2054 TO CANCEL. IF IT IS AFTER 4:00 ON FRIDAY YOU SHOULD CALL 842-5080 AND HAVE THE FAMILY SUPPORT MANAGER ON CALL PAGED.
• IF YOU SIGN UP FOR EVENTS AND NEED TO CANCEL BUT DO NOT CALL, AFTER THE SECOND TIME, YOU WILL NOT BE GUARANTEED A SPOT IN FURTHER EVENTS.

• Children’s Dance • March 26 • 3:00-8:00 pm; DTC Café; Free. We will be hosting the children’s dance at Liberty’s DTC. • This dance is open to teens and adults. An alternate activity at the DTC building will be offered for younger children. • We will provide a dinner and snacks.
• Mini Golf Day • March 6 • 1:00 pm • Amsterdam High School • $5.00 for golfer. We will be going to the 12th Annual Miniature Golf Day. There will be face painting, crafts, trivia contests, Wii and more.
• The Little Mermaid • March 7 • 2:00 pm; Place: Proctor's Theater; Cost: $9.00.We will be going to Proctor’s theater for a presentation of The Fenimore Family Series, "The Little Mermaid."
• Tree Paad • March 13 •2:00 pm; Place: Malta. Cost: $10.00. The Tree Paad is a fun center located in Malta. There is free play area, Fort ballocity filled with tubes, nets, windows, mats and slides and softplay cannons and fountains. There is also an extra large bouncy bounce along with an arcade. Website: www.treepaad.com.
• Story Book Sundae • March 21 • Time: 1:00 pm Place: FMCC Student Union; Cost: $5.00. Come to the 14th annual Storybook Sundae where characters from the book serve ice cream and cake while stories are being read.
• Stories That Dance • March 25 • Time: 7:00 pm Place: Proctor's Theater; Cost: $9.00. We will be going to Proctor’s Theater for the Fenimore Family Series of "Stories That Dance."
• Bounce Around • March 28 • Time: 2:00 pm; Place: Clifton Park; Cost: $10.00. We will be going to the Bounce Around where they have bouncy bounces and other activities for fun indoor play. Website: http://bouncehouses.com.
***Liberty does not administer medications during recreation events. If you need medication during the time of an event, other arrangements should be made.***

YMCA Fitness Center (for teens 16 and over) • March 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29. There will be new times. Free. The YMCA group has grown so much that I am going to reduce the groups so everyone has a chance to use different machines. We will be going to the YMCA to work out.
Special Olympics Volleyball • Wednesday, March 10, and 24• 6:15pm-8:15pm. Free. We will be practicing at for Special Olympics Volleyball the Bishop Burke Gym at Lexington every other Wednesday.
Special Olympics Track and Field • Saturday, March 6, 13, 20, and 27 • 10:00 am-Noon. Free. We will be going to the Bishop Burke Gym to practice for Special Olympics Track and Field on Saturdays. You need to have the proper paperwork in place before you can begin practice.
Special Olympics Basketball • Wednesday, March 3, 17, and 31 • Wednesday times 6:00 pm-8:00 pm. Free. We will be practicing every other Wednesday and every other Saturday for Special Olympics Basketball..
***If you are planning to participate in Special Olympics practices, a medical and consent form MUST be filled out and sent back to me. You will not be allowed to practice until this form is returned. |

• Drop-off Dances • March 5, 12, and 26 • 3:00 pm DTC Café; Free; We will be hosting dances at Liberty’s DTC. Transportation is not provided unless arrangements have been made in advance. Pick up time is no later than 8:00pm. • You will be notified of the dinners during confirmation calls. We are working to provide healthier meals at the dance.
• Agency Dance • March 19 • 3:00 pm. Place: DTC Café. Cost: Free. Description: • Transportation will be provided, please indicate on the registration form if you will need transportation to and/or from the dance.
• Bingo • March 14, 11, 18, and 25 • 6:45 pm. Place: Elks Lodge Cost: $4.00 Description: We will be going to the Elks Lodge in Amsterdam to play Bingo. You may bring extra money for more cards and/or food and drinks.

• Turning Stone Casino (21 yrs. and older) • March 7 • Time: 4:00 pm; Verona, N.Y. Cost: Money to play games and have dinner. Description: We will be going to Turning Stone in the evening. Please bring money to play games and for a dinner. We will be returning late.
• Wine and Cheese Party • March 11 • Time: 6:00 pm. Place: Raindancer Restaurant. Cost: $20.00 per person or $35.00 per couple. Description: We will be attending the Amsterdam Family YMCA 20th Annual Wine and Cheese Party.
• River Rats • Saturday, March 13 • 3:00pm; Times Union Center; $13.00 (pay in advance by March 5) Description: We will be going to see the Albany River Rats take on the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins. Please bring extra money for a meal.
• SVAN Coffehouse • March 14 • Time: 5:30 pm. Place: Methodist Church in Northville; Cost: $10.00. We will be going to see a concert featuring the vocalist Bar Scott performing songs and covers from the American Songbook. We will stop for a dinner as well..
• Movie at Crossgates • March 20 • Time: Evening, TBD. Place: Crossgates Mall. Cost: $10.00 admission plus money for meal. We will be going to Crossgates for a movie. We will be going in the evening, please bring extra money for a meal. The movie and time will be determined as the date gets closer.
• Arts and Crafts Day • March 21 • Time: 12:00 pm Place: DTC Café. Cost: $5.00 for lunch. This month we will focus the crafts on spring and the spring holidays. Bring your ideas!
• "Hail Mary" at Colonial Little Theater • March 21 • Time: 1:30 pm Place: Colonial Little Theater in Johnstown.
• Dinner at Golden Corral • March 27 • Time: 5:00 pm Place: Golden Corral, Saratoga Springs; buffet dinner.
• "Annie" • March 28 • Time: 2:00 pm Place: Broadalbin Perth High School; Cost: $5.00. We will be going to see the Broadalbin Perth students perform "Annie."

Special Olympics Basketball • March 3, 17, and 31 • 6:00 pm-8:00 pm. Bishop Burke Gym. Free. We will be practicing every other Wednesday for Special Olympics Basketball.
