• As a member, you will receive the Liberty Advocate, an award-winning newsletter featuring interesting stories about the people, places and happenings that make Liberty’s work so essential.
• Your Liberty membership affiliates you with NYSARC, Inc. (formerly known as New York State Association for Retarded Children, Inc.), a statewide organization comprised of chapters similar to Liberty, which is committed to helping meet the needs of people coping with mental and physical challenges.
• By joining Liberty, you are helping our local chapter maintain representation on NYSARC’s governing body. Liberty’s local delegates are involved in statewide advocacy on behalf of persons with disabilities.
