Residential Options
- Who decides what type?
It is a team effort with family members, residential and clinical

person wants to live.
- What types of funding?
A person must be eligible for Medicaid. There is also funding
available for homes through the New York State Cares program.
This program provides funds to develop new homes for people with
disabilities who are no longer able to live with family members.
