Description: Artwork from NYSARC Chapters throughout the state will be on display. It is a wonderful opportunity to view outstanding artwork created by individuals with disabilities from our own community and other areas of the state. Some artwork is available for purchase. There is no charge for admission. Refreshments will be available for purchase.

Description: Special guest are invited to view artwork created by individuals in the Liberty Through the Arts Program. This opening night event will provided a special look into the program and the outstanding works of art that have been created by people with disabilities in Liberty’s programs. The event provides an opportunity for our friends in the community to view the artwork, learn more about how the program inspires creativity and fosters self-determination. Invitees are encourage to join us. There is no cost. Refreshments will be served.

Description: On May 17, 18 & 19 the artists of Liberty Through the Arts, a program sponsored by Liberty, the Montgomery County Chapter of NYSARC, will be hosting their very first art show, Creative Expressions 2012, on May 18-19 at the Century Club in Amsterdam, NY. The show will give artists from numerous NYSARC Chapters the opportunity to showcase their best work and will include an opening night reception on Friday May 18, 2012 in celebration of their talents.

3.3.12 Winter Softball Tournament

Title: 2012 Softball Tournament
Location: Shuttleworth Park, Amsterdam NY
Description: All proceeds will benefit the programs supported by Liberty Foundation and the United Way. The Tournament is open to everyone and the cost is $10 per team member. Entry fee entitles you to play on a team or watch, then join players & fans after at a post-tournament party at the American Legion Post 701.

There is also a 50/50 raffle that will be taking place and tickets are on sale NOW! $1 per ticket; 1 ticket book for $5 (6 tickets per book) or 5 books for $20.
