Vocational Services

Liberty’s vocational program offers a variety of employment and training options intended to assist individuals with developmental and other disabilities in finding and retaining gainful employment.  The program emphasizes community-based employment but also operates the Liberty Enterprises work center in Amsterdam.

The Liberty Enterprises program offers short and long term employment in a variety of assembly, sorting and manufacturing tasks.   The types of training and work alternatives are matched to the worker based on their interests and abilities.  Vocational counseling is available to assist individuals with work adjustment, personal and social adjustment.
