Supported Employment

Enjoying Success On-the-Job — Amanda has worked at Handy Ups & Downs, a local thrift store for more than a year. The job provides an environment which supports her needs and allows her to take a little extra time to learn tasks, while focusing on building self-confidence and improving inter-personal skills.During the time she has been on the job Amanda has worked closely with her job coach. Thanks to hard work and determination she is considered to be an integral part of the team, trusted to manage customer transactions without assistance. Congratulations Amanda!!
