CAS Information Sessions

The Coordinated Assessment System (CAS) is New York State’s process for determining services for people with disabilities. Learn more about this important tool and how the CAS Assessment shapes the supports and services for you or your loved one.

People we support, family members, guardians, and care managers are cordially invited! Both sessions will cover the same material.

Session 1 — March 11 in Schenectady (Liberty ARC – 214 State Street, second floor training room)

Session 2 — April 8 in Amsterdam (47 Liberty Drive, Day Supports Building Cafeteria)

Liberty ARC is hosting two information sessions on the CAS system for families, people we support, and care managers. We’ll learn from CAS expert Tina Chirico, and dinner will be provided to all attendees. Please RSVP today!

Tina Chirico is a sought-after consultant who guides non-profits in the I/DD field through changes in the regulatory landscape. She has worked closely with OPWDD in New York State and many providers in educating and explaining the changes with the move to the CAS system.
