Liberty Foundation

The Liberty Foundation is a separate 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation that was established in 1993 by the Liberty ARC Board of Directors to raise funds to improve the lives of persons with disabilities and their families, particularly individuals with developmental disabilities in Montgomery County. It was established to ensure that vital programs, services, improvements to homes, and experiences which are not funded through government programs are available to the people supported by Liberty ARC.Group of people smiling and dancing at country concert. Thank you for your support of Liberty Foundation's Denim and Diamonds to fund life-enhancing items and services for Liberty ARC.

In recent years the Foundation has assisted individuals in maintaining meaningful employment, in the community, by underwriting a portion of transportation costs for those in Liberty ARC’s supported employment program.  The Liberty Foundation funded the creation of the Liberty ARC Computer Technology and Learning Lab, to assist individuals in learning and developing employment and life skills, and funds “Ground Level Grants” which provide items such as technology, mobility equipment, games and outings, and other unfunded things which improve the quality of life for the people we support.Man supported by Liberty ARC and a male Liberty ARC staff stand on the green of a golf course holding golf club with a thank you for supporting Liberty Foundation's Golf Tournament.

All proceeds from the Foundation’s events and appeals go to support these projects each year. Your donations and sponsorships have a positive impact on the lives of people with disabilities in our community.
